What we don't do

Most engagements involve sitting next to your in-house IT lead, your CTO, or whoever is already accountable for the systems we're touching. We document as we go. The goal at handoff is that your team can run, extend, and debug whatever we shipped. We're not interested in lock-in. Lifetime email support is included for any work we deliver.
About the team
TekStudio has been around for nearly a decade. Mark is the deep technical specialist. He gravitates toward the hard architectural problems and the systems that have to handle real load. Nathan focuses on automation, integrations, and getting modern tooling in place around the work. Together you get senior judgment from two angles, which is usually what these engagements actually need.

Common questions
Do you replace our internal IT staff?
No. We work alongside whoever already owns the systems day to day. They keep the keys, we deliver a project. If you don't have anyone in that role yet, we can also help you decide what to hire for.
Do you do break and fix or general help desk?
No. That's not where we add value. If you need that kind of coverage, an Edmonton-area MSP will serve you better and we're happy to suggest a couple we've worked alongside before.
Will we be working with you, or someone junior on your team?
You work with the founders. Mark and Nathan are the team. There is no bench, no offshore handoff, and no account manager between you and the people doing the work.
Are engagements remote or on site?
Most of the work runs remotely on a regular call cadence. We come up to Edmonton for kick-off, key working sessions, or final handoff when in-person genuinely helps. Otherwise we save you the travel cost.
How is this priced?
Project based, with a fixed scope and timeline written down before any work starts. The discovery call is free. From there we quote a complete engagement so you know what you're committing to.
What size company do you work with?
Most of our clients are between roughly five and two hundred staff. Big enough that the systems are non-trivial, small enough that the founders are still close to the work.
